"Come ormai avviene da diversi giorni le previsioni non sono ottimali. Mi confronto via sms con Johnny (mio fratello velista) che mi avvisa che per poter doppiare Capo Tenaro si deve andare anche oggi all'alba. Il paesaggio è sempre aspro e selvaggio. Breve sosta a Porto Kaggio dove finalmente vediamo qualche barca e poi rotta Sud verso Capo Tenaro ( o Capo Matapan). Il bellissimo faro domina un tratto di mare insidioso e pieno di storia. Quindi di nuovo rotta verso Nord, ma solo per poche miglia perchè il Maestrale ci costringe nuovamente a terra" . S.m.s. di Giacomo

"Now it happens since several days that theweather forecasts are not good. I keep in touch via sms with Johnny (my brother sailorman) who tells me that to round Cape Tenaro we must padddle only at sunshine. The landscape is more rugged and wild. Short stop in Porto Kaggio where finally we see some boats and then route south to Cape Tenaro (or Matapan). The beautiful lighthouse overlooking a stretch of treacherous sea full of history. Then again en route to the North, but only a few miles because Mistral forces us back to earth. "Giacomo S.m.s.
