Periplo di Creta
Nel mese di giugno tenterò di circumnavigare questa splendida e ventosa isola. La partenza è prevista nei primissimi del mese proprio per evitare il Meltemi, temutissimo vento del Mar Egeo, che diventa fortissimo e spesso proibitivo per la navigazione nei mesi di Luglio e Agosto.

L'obiettivo del viaggio sarà quello di navigare lungo le selvaggie coste dell'isola. Campeggio nautico, assenza di appoggio a terra e quindi totale autosufficenza saranno le caratteristiche principali del viaggio. Dissalatore e pannelli solari consentiranno autonomia per acqua ed energia elettrica (GPS, VHF, etc.) punti chiave per ogni tipo di spedizione.
Kayakextreme's blog verrà usato per gli aggiornamenti e sarà seguito da Valentina quando non potrò farlo io. Anche in caso di problemi per gli aggiornamenti meteo Valentina invierà i bollettini tramite sms.
Nei prossimi giorni posterò aggiornamenti sul viaggio; dalla preparazione fisica a quella organizzativa, dai particolari dell'equipaggiamento a come verrà organizzato il carico del kayak.

Crete's Periplus
